I love a good cookbook! And I love cookbooks from America’s Test Kitchen. But I’ll get to that in a minute. Their newest book, “Cooking at Home with Bridget & Julia” has become a new favorite of mine. I mean check out those meatballs up there!? Yum, right? P.S. I’ve partnered with ATK to give away a copy of this book! Details below!
There’s something magical about cookbooks, right? Those glorious pictures! That delicious food! I love them so much! And when I find one that I really like, I want to dance in the streets and sing out loud. Well, ok, that may be a bit “Disney” of me, but it’s true! And the feeling came to me recently when I discovered Bowls of Plenty by Carolynn Carreno.
I really love cookbooks, don’t you? And I especially love cookbooks that are written well and full of amazing recipes. Those can sometimes be hard to find. That’s why, when I stumble across them, I have to tell YOU about them. My current love is the book Whole Cooking and Nutrition written by Katie Cavuto, MS, RD. I’ve got the details all about it my my cookbook review!
Nourish. I’ve spent 100% of my time in my nutrition career talking ad nauseam about nutrition, but probably only 25% of that time using the word nourish. Isn’t that ironic? How could this important word get so little fan-fare in my every day “spiel” – the one that I use to encourage people to live better lives through consuming more nutritious foods!? Blasphemy! Why does this word mean so much to me now, more than ever? Because my co-conspirator, Elizabeth Shaw and I, are about ready to revel our Fertility Foods Cookbook that’s all about NOURISHING yourself!
Moms and dads, listen up! This book might just save your life!
How can a book save your life? Because if you’re anything like me, sometimes you are too tired, too over-whelmed and too strapped for time to figure out what to make for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enter Natural Baby Food by Dr. Sonali Ruder!
