Can we all agree that granola is awesome? Can we also all agree that Crunchy Chunky Granola is awesome? Well, I love a good crunchy granola that’s loaded with big clumps. Want to learn how to make it? Read on friends!
‘Tis the season for pumpkins, but I’m making banana bread. Not because I don’t love pumpkins, but because I had bananas and well, you know the saying, “if you’ve got brown bananas, you must make banana bread.” What? That’s not a saying? Oh well, it is in my world. And I love bananas and banana bread as well as oats and chocolate chips – so yeah, here comes Chocolate Oat Banana Bread!
Good morning breakfast lovers! Wait, not you? Well, sit tight because I’ve got a recipe that will turn you into a breakfast-believer. Just how am I going to do that? With cookies of course! But not just any cookies, Banana Oat Breakfast Cookies.
Are you an eggnog fan? I sure am. For me, eggnog elicits so many wonderful childhood Christmas memories. Ironically, it does the same for my husband. There’s just something special about this festive holiday drink! And because of that, I used it to make overnight oats! Oh yes I did! I made Eggnog Overnight Oats and they’re the perfect way to make your breakfast “merry!”
I’m keeping this post simple because I feel it could easily get out of hand, fast!
Here’s the deal, like the rest of America, I am in love with pumpkin.
For some people, this is just a trendy type of love, but for me, it’s the real deal and it’s got roots, people, serious roots. You see my love of pumpkin stems from my love of Halloween. And that love story began a long, long time ago, back when I was embarking on my first trick-or-treating experience. Long before I knew that candy was just the beginning of my beautiful (and believe it or not, healthy) relationship with all things sugar. Now that I have such an advanced palate (uh huh, yep, I do. Ha!) and a degree in Nutrition, I can take what I love and put a de”light”full spin on it. Enter, my pumpkin spice granola.
